YEE-HAW it was our annual Western Night. The girls dressed up in flannel shirts, jean shorts, and of course pig tail braids. They enjoyed a delicious western style dinner with bbq beef ribs, fresh baked biscuits, corn on the cob, nachos with a delicious queso dip, and churros with chocolate and marshmallow dipping sauce! Jealous? The girls then went into the indoor arena for some line dancing hosted by our very own line caller Sid. The evening was the best in the west (of the Adirondacks!)
I saw a lot of happy faces get off the fishing boat today! The girls told me they caught 15 fish in just one period. Did you know that fishing is EXTRA special because the girls get to take the boat to the Raquette Lake General Store for some ice cream? Lucky Lucky!
Wish us luck! Today is our dance competition against 4 other camps hosted by us! We can’t wait to tell you all about it with the results tomorrow.
