The sun was shining for the first official day of camp! The girls had a great first day of activities and jumped right into things including the lake! They were busy at the water front completing their blue cap swim test! The seniors started auditioning for the Raquette Lake Playhouse production of Legally Blonde!
Last night was the opening camp fire. The SUPY girls (our oldest campers) introduced theme of the summer strength and unity. They did a wonderful job leading the camp, singing songs, and sharing stories with the camp.
One of our greatest traditions is our jacket ceremony where we recognize and award the many girls who have been campers with us for 5 years and 8 years. We also awarded returning staff with 3 year and 10 year jackets! What an amazing milestone!
We are so happy to see all the smiling faces, hear all the cheering in the dining hall! It’s like the girls never left!
