The rain stayed away and temps were cooler today, making for a full day of activity.
Last night was the boys camp play “Rudy” which starred boys from our freshmen, sophomore and junior age groups. The show was a big success…earning loud applause from the audience. Broadway here they come!
Arts and crafts have been booming this year and the amount of creativity the campers are showing is extraordinary. Whether it is paracord bracelets or building a birdhouses the campers and councilors stay interested and express large amounts of enthusiasm with their projects.
Here are the Projects so far:
-Paracord bracelets, necklaces, and key chains
-Catapults made from popsicle stick and straws
-Birdhouses
-Drawing and painting
-Fidget spinner crafting
-Wood burning Nordic talismans
-Popsicle stick architecture
The arts and crafts activity has quickly turned into an area of expression and creative development. The campers are finding that it is a judgment free place area and are learning that all art is subjective and beautiful.
A huge thank you to our ctivity head Marz for making our boys creativity shine!
