At Riding-as visiting day is soon approaching the girls have been picking their favorite horses to start riding more frequently in order to showcase their new skills for all of their visitors! Many more girls have started over trot poles and even cross rails. We can’t wait for all of the parents and family to watch their children ride. They have all demonstrated a level of responsibility and capability which is well above the average for their age. I hope you all are as excited as we are to come visit us!
In basketball we are working on rules, teamwork, and skills.The campers are playing mini basketball games. Also body conditioning for basketball.
Right before dinner we had two dance performances at flag pole that were beautifully choreographed by our head of dance who is also an alumni camper, Maya! The girls will perform dances for you on visiting day!
Evening activity was the counselor hunt. The girls went all around camp to try to find counselors and head staff to win Raquette Bucks. The girls took home anywhere from 100-10,000 bucks!!
