So lucky we have been…. with the most beautiful weather in the Adirondacks! The girls are still busy at all of their regular scheduled activities.
This week at sail they have been getting back into sailing and having “free sail”. The counselors have been sailing with the juniors and seniors and getting them familiar with the parts of the boat, tacking and gibing and identifying wind direction using “nature’s signs”. Next week we will commence our skipper program with lots of promising sailors coming along the way! Special shout out goes to the elective sailors from Duck Bay who have been so enthusiastic about taking the helm.
A big congratulations to our bunks of the week!

WE ARE FAMILY! I GOT ALL MY SISTERS WITH ME!
Another wonderful tradition as old as the camp itself, is our cam sister program. Each summer, every girl at the girl’s camp will be matched up with a camp sister. Younger campers, are paired with older campers. This connects our campers and expands their camp family providing them another person to look up to and be there to talk to!
At flag pole the camp sisters were announced in one huge circle and brought together for a picture. They then enjoyed a yummy dinner with their camp sisters. After dinner they visited their bunks and did activities together like soccer, dancing, and even just hanging out talking!
