Another fun-filled day of activities with mostly sunshine. The boys had an amazing day on the fields and in the water. For lunch, campers and staff enjoyed the campy hour lunch of mini hot dogs and hamburgers with a side of french fries and onion rings. This fan-favorite meal definitely did not disappoint! We celebrated another birthday at dinner with singing and cake. We love our summer birthdays!
Evening activity was the counselor talent show and they definitely kept us entertained. We had two acts from former campers: An annual tradition called, “making eggs” that had the campers cracking up, when they did versions mimicking the speech styles of some long-time staff members. Also an act called, “a morning at Raquette” that made quite the mess, but got plenty of laughs. Returning counselors sang Adele’s “someone like you” and the campers joined in. Splash’s magic show lives on with Marc Catanese doing his best rendition.
A-house had the first of Eddie’s campfires this summer… don’t worry we only let them have a few s’mores each! The boys loved hearing Eddie’s campfire stories and are already begging for more.
