Yesterday marked the first Girls Camp Trip day, filled with excitement and adventure for everyone. Our freshmen had a fantastic day in Old Forge, enjoying pizza, watching “Inside Out 2,” and doing a little shopping. The sophomores explored the Wildlife Center in Tupper Lake where they explored different animals, such as fish, turtles and otters, and went on nature walks. The walks included a jungle gym that the girls had a blast climbing.
Our juniors were busy practicing for their performance for Friday night, fine-tuning their acts and getting ready to shine on stage. The seniors had a blast at the Enchanted Forest Waterpark! The girls did not let the chilly weather get in the way of their fun splashing down water slides, spinning on amusement rides and shopping for their new camp sisters.
After dinner, we all gathered for the much-anticipated Dutch Auction. campers filled a pillowcase with items they expected to be called at the auction. Each bunk earned points for having the called items, and the excitement in the air was palpable. SUPY won the night by just one point. Congratulations to the winning bunk!
