Today was a day to remember at Camp Raquette! After an energetic and competitive Olympics, the girls gathered for a special Taylor Swift Eras Tour-themed dinner. The dining hall was filled with the sound of Taylor Swift’s greatest hits, setting the perfect backdrop for an evening of celebration and fun.The Taylor Swift Campsister Dinner was a blast! The girls enjoyed singing along to their favorite tunes, showing off their best dance moves, and, of course, creating classic Taylor Swiftie friendship bracelets. The atmosphere was electric, with everyone sharing their love for Taylor and the joy of being together.
Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, a special surprise was unveiled – Breakout! As the iconic 6 Chairs Marching Band paraded down with the legendary flag, excitement buzzed through the air. SUPY quickly made their way to the social hall, signaling the start of a cherished camp tradition.
For those new to Camp Raquette, the 6 Chairs symbolize the culmination of the summer. Six girls are selected from SUPY to lead the camp during Team Week, embodying the essence of what it means to be a Raquette camper. These six young leaders are chosen for their outstanding leadership, spirited participation, and kindness – qualities that define the core values of our camp.We are thrilled to congratulate the six girls chosen for this year’s 6 Chairs!
