At Boys Camp, tradition runs deep—but so does authenthic, ridiculous, and downright amazing talent. Last night, the counselors handed in their staff shirts and clipboards for spotlights and standing ovations during the much-anticipated Counselor Talent Show. And let’s just say… the campers were blown away.
The night kicked off with acrobatics that had everyone on the edge of their benches. Balancing acts, flips, and a lot of core strength were on full display as one counselor turned the rec hall into a mini circus. No nets, no fear—just pure athleticism and a few heart-stopping moments.
Then came the music. One counselor serenaded the crowd with a powerful vocal performance that hushed even the noisiest bunk.
Next up: A Rubik’s cube showdown that was part genius, part wizardry. In a blur of clicks and twists, 16 campers raced to solve the colorful puzzle. Cheers erupted as the final twist locked into place. Some campers are still trying to figure out if it was actual skill or some sort of sorcery.
An emotional and heartfelt moment was the rendition of Someone Like You. Sung with soul and just the right touch of nostalgia, it reminded everyone in the room what makes this place so special. A few misty eyes? Maybe. (We won’t name names.)
And then… the lights dimmed, the room fell silent, and a familiar chant began to rise. Everyone knew what time it was.
It was time for SPLASH
A camp tradition unlike any other, THE SPLASH magic show returned in full force—and the crowd went wild. From card tricks that defied explanation to disappearing objects (and one nearly disappearing counselor!), the magician-counselor had the audience gasping, laughing, and shouting for more. With each illusion, the suspense built, culminating in the grand finale that left campers with mouths wide open and minds racing.
It was a night full of laughs, talent, heart, and a little bit of camp magic—literally.
So, who’s got talent? At Boys Camp, the answer is clear: our counselors do. And they brought it all to the stage in a show no one will soon forget.
