4 Week Sing, Tie Dye Mania, and Theater Practice

Camp is absolutely buzzing with energy as we head into the heart of the summer, and Girls Camp is showing off all the best parts of our traditions.

Our Frosh and Sophs are deep into rehearsals for their camp play, and it’s been magical to watch them come together as a cast. The stage is full of singing, dancing, giggling, and growing confidence. Whether it’s memorizing lines, helping a friend with cues, or practicing that big group number just one more time, these girls are learning what it means to be part of something bigger, and loving every moment of it!

All around camp, color is in the air (literally!) as tie-dye season kicks off in full swing! Campers are getting creative with their designs as they prepare for the upcoming Carnival one of the most anticipated events of the summer. From swirls and stripes to heart shapes and rainbow spirals, the girls are putting their personalities on display with every twist of a rubber band and squeeze of dye.

A big congratulations to our Girls Camp Bunks of the Week: Maple, Tamarack, and Duck Bay! Your sparkling clean bunks and amazing teamwork really stood out this week. Keep up the great work!

Tonight, we gathered for one of Girls Camp’s most meaningful traditions — 4 Week Sing. Each bunk took to the stage to perform a past alma mater from a previous Team Week Sing, adding their own unique voice to the legacy of camp.

The performances are judged on a range of heartfelt details: their walk-in presence, how faithfully they stay to the original tune, their leadership and group cohesion, and, most importantly, the emotion and pride they pour into their performance. It’s not just about singing —it’s about remembering, honoring, and carrying forward the songs that define our summers.

As the sun set and the final notes echoed across camp, it was clear that 4 Week Sing isn’t just a performance it’s a celebration of our shared history, of the friendships we’ve made, and of the deep-rooted spirit that makes Girls Camp feel like home.

The summer is flying by, but these are the moments that stay with us long after the season ends.
