The first week at canoe/kayak/paddleboard has been a blast! Our girls have been hitting the lake each day, learning and improving their skills on both canoes and paddle boards. We started with the basics — mastering safe ways to get into canoes and onto paddle boards, practicing balance and control, and understanding important safety procedures. The girls have been working together beautifully, showing incredible teamwork and camp spirit through fun games and challenges on the water. It’s been amazing to see so many campers gaining confidence and having so much fun out on the lake!
Meanwhile, in SUPY’s absence, Birch has proudly stepped up as the leaders of camp, taking charge in the dining room and setting the tone for the rest of the campers. Their spirit and energy have been contagious, and it’s inspiring to watch them lead with such enthusiasm.
To cap off an exciting day, our evening activity was the ever-popular Intercollegiate Night, where the camp splits into teams to compete in spirited games and challenges. Right now, the Sun Devils and Huskies are tied — and the competition is heating up!
We can’t wait to tell you all about trip day!
