There’s nothing quite like a lazy Sunday morning at Raquette Lake Girls Camp, and today was one for the books! The girls woke up to the sweet aroma of freshly baked donuts and cinnamon rolls wafting through the air, along with the sizzle of made-to-order omelettes being flipped by our kitchen crew. With bagels, spreads, and plenty of fresh fruit rounding out the breakfast table, everyone savored a relaxed and delicious start to the day — the perfect way to recharge after a busy week of camp life.
We’re also thrilled to announce our Bunk of the week winners for their exceptional cleanliness and teamwork: Osprey, Duck Bay, and Tamarack. These girls set the bar high, keeping their spaces sparkling and showing pride in their camp home. Parents would be proud to see how organized and tidy they’ve become — congratulations to all bunks!
Meanwhile, over at ski, the energy has been electric! This week we dove right into learning new skills and having an absolute blast out on the water. With amazing weather and perfect lake conditions, the girls have been crushing their goals and gaining so much confidence with every run. We’re especially proud of all the campers who tried water skiing for the very first time this week — and nailed it! It’s been incredible to watch their courage and determination shine, and we can’t wait to see what new skills they conquer in the week ahead.
Lazy mornings, clean bunks, and fun afternoons — life at camp doesn’t get much better than this.
