Saranac Is Back: A Rite of Passage for Our Lower Seniors

Our Lower Senior boys have officially returned from their legendary three-day Saranac canoe trip one of the most celebrated and anticipated traditions at Raquette Lake Boys Camp.

Since their earliest summers as Frosh, the boys have looked forward to this milestone moment. And it did not disappoint. Over the past few days, they paddled across pristine Adirondack lakes, navigated winding rivers, and tackled portages as a team lifting canoes, building tents, cooking their own meals, and leaning on each other through every challenge. The experience brought them closer than ever, and we couldn’t be prouder of their effort, spirit, and determination.

To welcome the boys back, the entire camp gathered around the Saranac Campfire a special night filled with cheers, laughter, and tales from the trail. The energy was electric as our boys shared what the adventure meant to them.

And for those asking about our Aides on Black River they had the best time ever! They caught a record breaking 31 fish! They enjoyed time together, saw a movie, and even went white water rafting!
