Sunday Funday at RLBC

There’s something special about Sundays at Raquette Lake, and today was no exception! Campers enjoyed the perfect mix of downtime and action, with the morning kicking off in the most beloved way—Lazy Morning. The bunks eased into the day with time to relax, reset, and recharge after a big Saturday night celebration and before diving into a full afternoon of camp fun.

The Lower and Upper Frosh got moving with activities like ropes, archery, and canoe, and had a blast during their elective periods. The Upper Frosh were especially excited to rotate between STEM and archery, sparking both their creativity and aim. Later in the day, baseball, FFB, and waterfront time rounded out a fantastic schedule.

Lower Sophs embraced the water with swim and sailing, while also getting in some friendly competition on the tennis courts and basketball hoops.

Upper Sophs had a more adventurous morning, heading out on ski and sail, then finishing strong with electives, hoops, and a cool-off swim session in the late afternoon.

Lower Juniors were totally in the groove with a full rotation: tennis, swim, electives, sailing, and a competitive game of soccer. Meanwhile, the Upper Juniors laced up their cleats for soccer, swung for the fences at baseball, and closed out the day on the water with ski and sail.

As for our Lower Seniors and Aides they are on their senior adventure off camp, a summer highlight they’ll be talking about for weeks to come!

From lazy starts to active afternoons, today was a picture-perfect Raquette Lake Sunday! A big congratulations to our bunks of the week! Hudson and Rondaxe 2! Super Tidy bunks gave them the gold medal!
