What a fantastic Thursday here at camp! The day kicked off bright and early for our Lower Junior boys, who boarded a boat to head over to Camp Baco for a much-anticipated basketball tournament! Spirits were high, and our athletes brought their A-game, showcasing great teamwork, sportsmanship, and Raquette pride. We are so proud of how they represented our camp!
Back on our home courts and fields, the rest of the camp was in full swing. From volleyball and tennis to swimming and STEAM projects, every division had a jam-packed schedule filled with energy and smiles. Our Upper Sophs had a great day balancing electives with adventure elements like Algonquin Ski and Sail, while the Lower Sophs rotated through Champlain and Seneca/Cayuga ropes and sports, embracing new challenges and cheering each other on.
The AIDEs continued to impress as they juggled leadership roles and activities like tennis, hoops, and baseball, and our Upper Juniors made the most of their flex time choosing between helping on bunk, playing tennis, or assisting activities.
In the evening, the lakefront was buzzing for our Waterfront Hobby Night, where campers explored everything from paddleboarding to sunset swims. Meanwhile, the Juniors traded their swimsuits for card decks during a lively Casino Night a little glitz, a lot of laughs, and endless memories.
