After a wonderful carnival weekend, Girls Camp eased into Sunday with a cozy, pajama-clad breakfast that was nothing short of dreamy. Campers strolled into the dining hall in their comfiest PJs, ready to savor a slow morning of hot omelets, fresh donuts, and all the smiles that come with a lazy Sunday.
The rest of the day was filled with lighthearted fun around camp—from arts and crafts to waterfront relaxation—but the true highlight was saved for the evening.
As the sun began to set, the curtains rose at the Raquette Playhouse for the Freshman and Sophomore production of The Lion King and what a show it was! The set was vibrant and colorful, transforming the stage into a magical African savanna. The costumes were absolutely adorable, with handmade masks, tails, and face paint bringing beloved characters to life. The girls sang their hearts out, filling the theater with energy and excitement.
From “Hakuna Matata” to “Circle of Life,” the audience was completely captivated. It was clear how much heart and hard work went into the performance, and the crowd rewarded the cast with a standing ovation.
We are so proud of our girls and really enjoyed watching them!!
