Diamond White and Brilliant Blue!

Another spirited and fun day of Team Week! After a cheerful morning wake-up and breakfast lineup, campers headed straight into team meetings, fine-tuning their game plans and building momentum for the jam-packed schedule ahead. From there, it was time to hit the fields, courts, and waterfront for a full slate of challenges.

For field day every bunk brought their A-game—whether it was Volleyball Serve Tic Tac Toe, the tricky Over Under challenge, lightning-fast Base Running, or the precision needed in Standing Long Jump. The Soccer Challenge had the Lower Field buzzing, while the Hula Hoop Relay tested teamwork and coordination. The roar of the crowd grew loudest during Basketball, and even the counselors got in on the action with a lively Cornhole Challenge.

With every event came cheers, encouragement, and crucial points for the Blue and White teams. The competition was tight, but the real victory was the camaraderie and sportsmanship on display all morning long.

After a quick reset in the afternoon, the whole camp gathered for the All-Cap Relay at the waterfront—an epic, camp-wide race where every camper had a role to play. It was followed by a thrilling round of Water Polo, adding even more excitement to the day’s score tally.

Dinner brought one of Team Weeks most beloved traditions—Toasts Sung at Dinner—where heartfelt words and team pride filled the Dining Hall. The evening wrapped up with Sing Practice, as each team prepared for the final performances that will bring Color War to a close.

At the end of the day the blue is still taking the lead. With every point hard-earned, today proved once again that Team Week at Raquette Lake is as much about heart as it is about competition.
