What an unforgettable finale to an incredible Color War! From the first morning tug-of-war to the last embers of the campfire, the energy, sportsmanship, and spirit from both Green and White made this a day to remember.
The morning kicked off with fierce A/B and multi-division tugs, followed by the excitement of the Junior War Canoe. Campers then had a chance to make up rain-out events before the much-anticipated afternoon Track Meet. Every race, jump, and throw was met with cheers echoing across camp. In the end, the White team triumphed in the Track Meet with a score of 251 to 226, edging them closer to overall victory.
When the final points were tallied, it was the White team who claimed the ultimate Color War championship, finishing with 2742 points to Green’s 2543. The win was well-earned, but what stood out most was the unity on display during the Closing Campfire. Green and White came together as one camp family—sharing stories, songs, and memories from an unforgettable week.
Congratulations to both teams for their passion, effort, and heart. The colors may fade until next year, but the friendships and memories made will last a lifetime.
