One of the most exciting traditions at Raquette Lake Boys Camp is the annual Camp Brothers reveal, and this year’s kickoff did not disappoint!
When the moment finally arrived, excitement filled the air as older and younger campers met their Camp Brothers for the very first time. Handshakes quickly turned into smiles, high-fives, and instant friendships. For our younger campers, a Camp Brother means having an older role model, mentor, and friend to look up to throughout the summer. For our older campers, it is an opportunity to lead, support, and make a younger camper feel right at home.
The evening began with dinner and lead into an action-packed Camp Brothers scavenger hunt that had campers racing all over camp, working together to solve clues, complete challenges, and search for hidden surprises. The energy was contagious as campers teamed up, laughed together, and eagerly searched for the final clue.
After an evening filled with adventure and new connections, the boys gathered together to relax and enjoy watching the World Cup. Campers cheered on their favorite teams, celebrated big plays, and enjoyed sharing the excitement of the world’s biggest sporting event together.
