Kingdom Co-ed Day!

The kingdom came alive on Thursday as Boys Camp and Girls Camp joined forces for one of the most exciting traditions of the summer.

The day began with girl campers arriving by boat, where they were greeted by colorful kingdom banners and divided into four mighty realms. Accesorized in their team colors, each kingdom quickly got to work creating its own unique battle chant, march, and team identity before proudly showing off their creativity during the spirited March of Kingdoms opening ceremony. The energy was contagious as each team tried to outdo the next with loud cheers, creative costumes, and plenty of camp spirit.

Once the opening festivities wrapped up, the real competition began! Throughout the day, campers rotated through a series of medieval-inspired challenges that tested teamwork, strategy, speed, and determination. From racing to Capture the Dragon Egg, tackling The King’s Quest, battling it out in Castle Ball, and showing their skills during Kingdom Kick, every event was packed with excitement and friendly competition.

Between events, campers enjoyed BBQ lunch together, traded stories from the morning’s adventures, and geared up for an afternoon filled with even more action. The day concluded with the thrilling Royal Relay, where every kingdom gave one final all-out effort in hopes of earning those last crucial points.

While everyone hoped to see their kingdom crowned champion, the true victory was the incredible teamwork, sportsmanship, and friendships that filled the day. Campers of every age encouraged one another, counselors jumped right into the fun, and the entire camp community embraced the spirit of the kingdom.

Long live the Kingdom! Until next time….
