Today was one of everyone’s favorite traditions at Raquette Lake Boys Camp—Trip Day! With every age group heading off on its own adventure, campers enjoyed a day packed with fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories.
Our Freshmen had a very special visit to Girls Camp, where they experienced some of the activities the girls enjoy every day. From gymnastics and dance to arts & crafts and ceramics, the boys enthusiastically jumped into each activity before hopping aboard a boat for a trip to the General Store, where they cooled off with some well-earned ice cream.
The Sophomores spent the day in Old Forge, enjoying a little friendly competition on the mini golf course before treating themselves to ice cream and some shopping around town.
Our Lower Juniors continued their exciting new tradition—LJT! Their adventure took them on a journey through the beautiful Lake George area with several fun stops along the way, all culminating in a delicious dinner at Uncle Mario’s. It was a fantastic day filled with great food, great company, and plenty of laughs.
The Upper Juniors also headed to Old Forge for a day of shopping and a movie, making the most of a relaxing day away from camp before returning with bags full of treats and stories to share.
Meanwhile, our Lower Seniors are away on their traditional Saranac trip, embracing the adventure and camaraderie that has become such a meaningful part of the Raquette experience. We can’t wait to welcome them back and hear all about their journey.
Our Seniors are also away on their own traditional trip, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t wait to share all of the highlights with you when they return.
