Thursday brought another incredible day of Color War competition! With every event carrying more weight, both teams continued to fight for every single point.
The morning kicked off with a strong lineup of events including War Canoe, Newcomb, Archery, and Senior Gaga. The Green Team had a great start to the day, earning victories in Senior War Canoe, Frosh Newcomb, Upper Soph Archery, and Senior Gaga B. The White Team came away with wins in Staff War Canoe, Lower Soph Archery, and Senior Gaga A.
The afternoon brought even more competition across tennis, baseball, soccer, water polo, softball, basketball, Gaga, and staff volleyball. The Green Team picked up wins in Frosh Water Polo, Jr. A Baseball, Senior Softball, Senior Hoops C, CIT Gaga, and Staff Volleyball C and D.
The White Team had a strong afternoon as well, earning wins in Sophomore Tennis, Jr. B Baseball, Frosh Soccer, both Sophomore Water Polo games, Sophomore Softball A, Senior Hoops B, and Staff Volleyball A and B.
Then it was time for one of the most exciting Color War traditions Sing!Both teams brought incredible energy, creativity, and spirit to the stage. Green won Entrance,and Old Beauty. Original Fight and Original Beauty both finished in ties.
After all four categories, the Green Team was crowned the winner of Sing.
The night continued with Senior A Basketball, and it was a game that came down to the wire. Both teams battled until the final moments in an incredibly close matchup, with every basket making a difference. It was the kind of Color War game that had everyone on the edge of their seats!
After five days of competition, the Green Team remains in the lead. Tomorrow marks the end of color war with the much anticipated track meet.
