What a day at Raquette Lake Camps! Both Girls Camp and Boys Camp came together for an unforgettable afternoon of carnival fun, laughter, and a little friendly competition!
The grounds were transformed into a magical carnival filled with games, challenges, treats, and activities for everyone to enjoy. Campers raced through obstacle courses, tested their skills with basketball, soccer, golf, and skee-ball, battled it out in jousting challenges, created colorful masterpieces, snapped photos at the photo booth, and showed off their talents at the karaoke booth. There were also bracelets and beads, face paint, cotton candy, snow cones, and plenty of carnival prizes to make the afternoon even sweeter!
The energy was everywhere as campers moved from booth to booth, cheering on their friends and taking on new challenges. Whether they were competing for prizes, trying something for the first time, or simply enjoying the afternoon with their best friends, the carnival was full of the kind of moments that make summer at Raquette Lake so special.
And just when we thought the excitement couldn’t get any bigger, it was time for the Knight’s Show!
Then, at the very end of the performance, the music went down and a flag was held high.

The cheers erupted across camp as campers realized what was coming. The anticipation, excitement, and energy were absolutely electric!
The blue and the white, the green and the white, came together for the opening campfires. Beautiful speeches were made by all team captains. It was truly a night to remember under the stars, looking over the beautiful Adirondack lake at Raquette Lake Camps!
