Senior Banquet 2026

The final days of camp are always bittersweet. There’s an unspoken feeling around Raquette as we realize just how quickly another summer has gone by.

We soak up every last bit of sunshine, spend as much time as we can on the lake, and hold onto those little stolen moments found everywhere around camp. Campers linger a little longer with their friends, laughter carries across the fields, and bus letters begin to be written home—one of the surest signs that Closing Day is getting close.

For our Seniors, one of the most anticipated traditions of these final days arrived: the Annual Senior Banquet.

The Seniors from both sides of the lake gathered at Boys Camp for a beautiful evening celebrating their summer, their friendships, and their years at Raquette. This year’s green and navy theme created the perfect setting for a night that felt both elegant and unmistakably Raquette.

The evening began with hors d’oeuvres overlooking the lake, surrounded by friends and one of the most beautiful views in camp. From there, everyone gathered for a special dinner filled with conversation, laughter, and memories.

After dinner, the Seniors watched a photo montage celebrating the moments and friendships that have defined their time at camp. And then, it was time to dance! The music went up, the dance floor filled, and the celebration continued with a dance party under the Adirondack sky.

It was an evening to remember under the stars—a chance to celebrate not only another incredible summer, but the friendships, traditions, and memories that these campers will carry with them long after the buses pull away.

As we enter these final days, we’re holding onto every moment just a little tighter. Because at Raquette, the end of the summer is never really goodbye. The memories made here and the friendships that come with them last far beyond the final days on the lake.
