Freaky Friday, Sunshine & Socials

It was a very Freaky Friday at Raquette Lake! The kids came down to flagpole in the morning completely confused when they discovered that Girls Camp had Boys Camp staff lined up, while Boys Camp had Girls Camp staff! It was certainly a morning full of surprises, laughs, and a little bit of chaos.

Our directors also got in on the fun and spent the morning getting a taste of life on the opposite side of the lake. It was such a fun way to switch things up, see camp from a different perspective, and experience a little of what makes both sides of Raquette Lake so special!

The sun was shining bright over camp today, and it felt like the whole lake was sparkling just for us with dancing diamonds. It was the kind of day that makes you want to soak in every single second of camp.

The ceramics room was buzzing today! Our girls got crafty painting and creating their very own ceramic Jellycats, getting their hands messy at the pottery wheel for ceramics.

Tonight, our Junior campers came together for their social, music, dancing, and plenty of laughter filled the room!

And for our Senior campers and CITS, tonight was one for the books. The girls headed into Old Forge for a special evening out — full of fun, friends, and the kind of memories that stick with you long after summer ends. Between the excitement of getting off camp grounds and spending the night with their best friends at the strand theater, this is a story your Senior camper will be dying to tell you the second she gets a chance.
