And just like that, Summer 2026 has come to an end.
The Blue and the White. The Green and the White. The cheers, the competition, the songs, the traditions, and the moments that made this summer unforgettable.
We swam in the lake until we never wanted to get out. We danced in the dining hall. We played basketball, soccer, and every sport imaginable. We climbed the ropes course, sailed and skied across the water, sang our hearts out, laughed until our stomachs hurt, and made friendships that will last far beyond the summer.
There were big moments and little ones. Moments we planned and moments that simply happened. A look across the dining hall. A late night conversation. A perfect afternoon on the lake. A song everyone knew. A friendship that started with a simple hello.
That is the magic of Raquette.
The Adirondacks will always be here. The dancing diamonds will continue to sparkle. The pine trees will continue to stand tall. The mountains will still surround this beautiful place. And when you look up at the stars, no matter where you are in the world, they will always bring you back to Raquette.
But the true spirit of Raquette Lake isn’t the lake, the mountains, the cabins, or the pine trees.
It is the campers. It is the laughter. The friendships. The courage to try something new. The kindness shown to a friend. The cheers from the sidelines. The songs sung a little too loudly. The memories made together.
These are the things that make Raquette Lake Camps what it is.
Summer 2026 gave us so much to remember. So many stories to tell. So many friendships to carry with us. And while we may leave Raquette, Raquette will never really leave us.
Because the summer ends. The friendships don’t. The memories don’t. And the magic of Raquette never does.
