Would you believe this is one of the fastest Saranac canoe trips we have ever had. The boys are almost 1 day ahead! They must be paddling extra fast and hard!
For the boys on Black River- yesterday was whitewater rafting on the Black River. Unfortunately there are no pictures-Too wet-Sorry! The Black River Gorge is the last section of a 189 mile journey from it’s headwaters in the Adirondacks to Lake Ontario. This gives New York’s second longest river a drainage area of almost 2000 sq. miles!
Evening activity was Beach night. Sid was playing music and there were beach games! The boys went swimming, sailing, and paddle boarding just to name a few. They also were relaxing in the tubes watching the beautiful sunset over Raquette Lake.
The boys are tie-dying their t shirts in preparation for Saturday’s carnival on boys camp! The consensus is that they.. CAN’T WAIT!
