Last night, Girls camp held their Mini-Sing. This is one of the most important and anticipated nights at camp. This event is rich in tradition as songs that were written decades ago are sang by our girls! What is even more special is a lot of our campers come from multi generation camp families and sing songs that their mothers wrote!
Supy leaders taught each of the bunks a March that had been written by campers and counselors from past Team Weeks to be performed for the whole camp. Many of the songs that the younger campers learned for this event were ones that are sung regularly in our dining room and date back to the early 60’s. In addition, every decade was covered, allowing our girls to connect with our alumni. The Sing was beautiful and reflected the hard work of our Supy girls and our campers and counselors!
