The girls enjoyed another fun trip day on the road exploring the Adirondacks!
The Freshman enjoyed The Wild Center in Tupper Lake! They said their most favorite part of the exhibit was the wild walk. An elevated trail across the Adirondack treetops! All girls also earned a Jr. Naturalist patch upon completing a special booklet!
Seussical the Musical! The lower sophs were rhyming the day away in the theater practicing for their big production on Friday! They enjoyed a bbq lunch on camp and some swimming!
The upper sophs loved their day of shopping, movies, and of course yummy tony harpers pizza!
The juniors zoomed, zipped, splashed, at the enchanted forest. They had the most perfect weather for a day in a water park!
The seniors enjoyed a leisurely day in Lake Placid. They definitely did not lose their shopping skills while being at camp!
Birchwood returned from their 80 mile canoe trip with smiles and a sense of accomplishment. They ended the evening with a campfire where they shared their stories and experiences with the camp! As our girls camp Director Kim mentioned, Saranac used to be a boys camp trip only. While it was eventually made optional for Girls Camp, Kathi and Eddie then implemented it into regular program. They saw the importance of having every girl prove their strength through this trip and no better way to do it than with your summer sisters. We were thrilled to welcome them back and hear all about their trips! We know they will have memories for a lifetime.
