It’s here! It’s here! Color War broke! The campers were woken to the sound of a fire alarm on camp. Smoke bombs were set off in the Halsband, giving the impression that the arena was ablaze. Campers quickly filed out of bunks and onto the main field to evacuate camp from the beach. We loaded all the campers onto boats and drove them away from camp, and as they turned the corner near the Dining Hall, they saw the “Color War” sign prominently displayed!!
One inning softball was our first event and the White team was victorious.
The afternoon was filled with activities for each group, and in the evening we had our opening campfire for the week.
After the first day of events, white team leads 151 to green 95!
