Bravo! Bravo! The senior boys amazed us with their singing, acting, and dance skills. They took the stage at the raquette playhouse on Friday for their rendition of A Chorus Line! We are so proud of our boys for their enthusiasm and putting on such a wonderful show. Also a very thank you to our theater staff for all of their hard work. It definitely paid off!
Here is an update from our head of Baseball: For the first full week of camp, we’ve been timing the campers running around the bases and playing “lightning baseball” for instructional purposes. For the base running, we plan on timing them again around visiting day as well as at the end of the summer to see how their speed has changed and the progress they have made throughout the summer.
At baseball elective, we are focusing on pitching and catching this week. For the pitchers, we have them working on form and having pitching competitions. As for the catchers, we are having them practice blocking balls and work on throwing when a base runner is stealing base.
