Something very special happened at Raquette Lake Boys Camp. Summer 2019 camp brothers were assigned!!
Another wonderful tradition as old as the camp itself, is our camp brother program. Each summer, every boy at the boy’s camp will be matched up with a camp brother. Younger campers are paired with older campers. Camp Brother dinners will be scheduled once a week for the remainder of the summer with a special evening activity. Although each year every camper will be given a different camp brother their bond carries on for their entire camp experience.
Camp brothers were announced with lots of cheering at the flagpole. They then enjoyed a delicious dinner together and the much anticipated camp brother counselor manhunt.
There were only 3 ways to win… a pizza party with your camp brother!

-Find the most counselors
-Find Gregg! (Easier said than done in his camouflage suit!)
The lower sophs enjoyed a campfire with Eddie! They loved his stories about the history of boys camp and also loved the S’mores!
