The sun was shining and the lake was glistening but the best part of the day was definitely the boys smiles! They were running around camp from activity to activity and did not miss a beat. We started the swim tests and the boys did great! During lunch and dinner the boys cheered and danced on their chairs to baby shark and it’s raining tacos which was fitting for the delicious taco dinner!
Evening activity was the traditional campfire where we welcomed the new campers and honored the oldest campers that we call our AIDES. We also honored 5,8, and 10 year campers with a special RLBC Jacket! The senior tribe spoke about the virtues and history that makes Raquette Lake Boys Camp so special! It was an amazing first full day of camp!
