They say you never really leave a place you love. You take part of it with you, and leave part of yourself behind. That could not be more true about Raquette Lake Camps. Summer 2021 is one we will remember for so many reasons. After a year of many uncertainities, if there was one thing that was certain, it was that we would do anything and everything to be together at last. And that we were, for the most perfect summer any of us could ask for!
Many new friends, and memories made,big or small whether it was dancing on the chairs singing with your camp friends, jumping in the lake, or cheering on your team during color war or team week, these are moments in life that we will remember always, moments that only happen at camp.
The friendships created here are cherished forever, and trust us there is no better friend than a camp friend. While we may spend 10 months of the year elsewhere, everywhere we go and everything we do will always bring us back to Raquette. Regardless of the time spent apart when we return to our summer home, we know we will pick up right where we left off. That is what makes Raquette Lake Camps so magical.
