We are living in our girls camp world and loving every second of it! The sun was shining in the morning for our first official day of camp! The girls had a great first day of activities and jumped right into things including the lake! They were busy at the water front completing their blue cap swim test. We are so happy to see all the smiling faces, hear all the cheering in the dining hall! It’s like the girls never left…
Did you know this is our 107th camp season? Last night was the opening camp fire. The SUPY girls (our oldest campers) introduced the 2023 theme of Optimism. They did a wonderful job leading the camp, singing songs, and sharing stories with the camp about when they were campers.
One of our greatest traditions is our jacket ceremony where we recognize and award the many girls who have been campers with us for 5 years and 8 years. We also awarded returning staff with 3 year and 10 year jackets! What an amazing milestone!
The seniors started auditioning for the Raquette Lake Playhouse production of Zombies.
