For the first trip day of the summer, campers got to spend the day at various locations right here in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains!
Smiling from ear to ear, the freshmen took a trip to Old Forge to see a new movie, Elemental. While enjoying snacks and popcorn, the movie definitely did not disappoint!
The sophomore age group enjoyed a splash filled day at Enchanted Forest, the #1 water park in the Adirondacks. Arriving off the bus they were greeted by the Paul Bunyon statue and excitedly hurried to get on the rides.
The lower junior age group was thrilled to spend the day at Old Forge as they enjoyed lunch at Tony Harper’s Pizza & Clam Shack. Exhilarated by the smell of delicious pizza, this lunch spot is beloved by all campers and staff.
The upper juniors had quite the early wake-up call as they embarked on their journey to Blue Mountain. For this trip, campers’ skills were put to the test as they spent the day canoeing and portaging across Blue Mountain and back to Raquette Lake. Although this trip may have been a little challenging, the campers were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset at the pioneering campsite along with smores to end the night. It definitely was a trip to remember.
The seniors spent the day on camp practicing for tonight’s production of Zombies. They enjoyed a yummy bbq lunch on girls camp. Their dedication, time, and talent will be exhibited this afternoon at the matinee show and tonight for evening activity. We can’t wait to see what they’ve been working on!
Placid and Raquette had Eddie’s campfire and had so much fun! They loved hearing his stories and loved the s’mores even more!
