After a day of fun activities, girls’ camp hosted this year’s luau! Luau is one of Raquette Lake’s beloved traditions, as campers and staff dress up and their best Hawaiian attire. We especially loved seeing SUPY’s matching t-shirt outfits.
For lunch, girls’ camp indulged in sloppy joes! Served with a side of pasta, this delicious meal was a big hit. As part of our luau celebration, Hawaiian-style food was served buffet style for dinner. The meal consisted of fried rice, noodles, spring rolls, chicken, and more! With leis and flowers covering the tables in the dining hall, the girls enjoyed every minute of this mouthwatering meal. Following dinner, campers and staff made their way to the arena for a special dessert and dance party. Jamming out with their friends and counselors, the girls had a blast! Luau night’s acclaimed fondue certainly served its purpose for this chocolate-filled dance party.
After the evening activity ended, the sophomore division made their way up to TP! Continuing their dance and dessert party, they enjoyed ice cream and popcorn. TP is most definitely everyone’s favorite night of the week!
Stay tuned for more news soon as SUPY continues their July 4th celebration!
