Yesterday, the girls had fun in the sun as they enjoyed a full day of activities! They were especially excited for snack time as they indulged in delicious fruits and ice pops after their 4th-period activity.
For lunch, the girls grouped up with their camp sister duo or trio and ate as a camp family. The meal consisted of tortillas, chicken, rice, and of course the camp-famous salad bar. At the end of lunch, Birchwood performed their newly written alma mater to the tune Nobody Gets Me by SZA. Their unity and positive spirit as an age group certainly showed through their delivery of this beautiful song.
For dinner, spaghetti, meatballs, and garlic bread were served. This staple camp meal is surely a fan favorite for all campers and staff.
Last night, girls camp gathered in the social hall to watch Annie, the second production of the summer! The juniors showed off all their talent and skill after practicing and preparing for a full week. The show even featured a real-life dog as Sandy! Theater staff certainly outdid themselves with this production. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for the sophomores’ play on Friday!
