For the fourth trip day of the summer, campers across all age groups went on several different trips at the iconic Raquette Lake trip day spots.
The freshmen spent the day on camp preparing for tonight’s production of Disney Princesses. This medley show of Disney icons will surely be a hit as we close out the season of performances in the Raquette Playhouse for the summer. We can’t wait to see their star talent on stage tonight!
The sophomores spent the day in Old Forge seeing a new film, Elemental. They started off the morning with pizza from Tony Harper’s Pizza & Clam Shack and then made their way to the theater to see the film. Once the film ended, they split up into groups and shopped around the town. The girls were especially excited to stop at The Naked Moose and pick up some Lazy One pajama shorts!
The juniors spent their day at the Enchanted Forest Water Safari. Stopping at the water and land rides, they surely enjoyed time in the sun. The girls also got delicious snacks at the park and of course, stopped at the iconic Paul Bunyon gift shop before heading back to camp.
Birchwood spent their trip day finishing up their fourth and final day of the Saranac trip! After the journey they embarked upon, camp gathered together to hear their silly stories at the annual Saranac campfire. This evening activity was not only entertaining but also delicious as s’mores were handed out to all the campers and staff. Congratulations to Birchwood on their accomplishment and positive attitude. We hope the trip exceeded their expectations and bonded the girls even further.
SUPY spent their trip day shopping around Lake Placid! This cute town is surely a camper favorite as they stopped at various stores and restaurants. From the pasta restaurant to the pizzeria, we’re sure the girls enjoyed all that the town has to offer.
Stay updated for more news coming soon on tonight’s production of Disney Princesses and tomorrow’s alumni day!
