For the third trip day of the summer, campers across all age groups enjoyed a fun day at various spots in the Adirondacks.
The freshmen spent the morning at Rocky Mountain on a fun hike! The view at the top was definitely worth the steps. They then spent the rest of the day shopping around Inlet and even enjoyed pizza and ice cream from Tony Harper’s and Northern Lights!
The sophomores stayed on camp yesterday and spent their day preparing for tonight’s production of Peter Pan! They have spent all week preparing and we can’t wait to see what they have in store tonight.
The juniors spent the day in Old Forge shopping around and then grabbing lunch at Tony Harper’s. After lunch, they headed to the Strand Theatre in Old Forge to see Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken. The girls loved seeing this new film!
Birchwood and SUPY spent their day at the Enchanted Forest Water Safari! Enjoying all the park has to offer, the girls loved every minute spent on the rides! And of course, they also enjoyed all of the delicious snacks and food offered at the park.
For evening activity, the SUPY sing leaders came into the bunks to start teaching each bunk their alma mater song for the four-week sing! As the sing quickly approaches, SUPY is diligently teaching the beautiful songs of Raquette’s history to keep the legacies of past SUPY’s alive.
Stay tuned for more updates on tonight’s production of Peter Pan! We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow for visiting day ;)
