A little rain in the morning is known to be good luck in the Adirondacks of New York! Just in time for the busses to arrive, the rain moved out and the energy and excitement of the campers filled the air on Boys Camp. The boys checked in at the Dining Hall to get their bunk assignments, before moving up the hill to see their bunk and meet their counselors!
Once all of the buses and campers arrived, we moved into an opening day event that sent campers by age group through a series of four activities designed to build teamwork, improve communication, and to simply have some camp fun.
The boys wore themselves out in the four different activities and worked up a huge appetite for dinner. They ate the spaghetti and meatball dinner and they loved it. Following dinner, the counselors took the bunks on a tour through camp, which ended right back at the dining hall for a popsicle treat to close out the day. Tomorrow begins the first full day of camp for these enthusiastic boys!
We feel so lucky to have your boys with us and we know summer 2024 is going to be an amazing one!
