Rain, rain, go away!
Despite the rainy weather today, we forged ahead and sent our campers to as many activities as possible. It’s hard to believe that the campers arrived just one week ago, and already, they’ve embraced the true spirit of camp life.
The rain couldn’t dampen our spirits as we found creative ways to keep the fun going. From indoor crafts and games to covered outdoor activities, our campers stayed engaged and enthusiastic throughout the day. The laughter and camaraderie were heartwarming, reminding us all of the resilience and positivity that define our camp community.
After dinner, SUPY led us in the dining room with cheers and songs. Music started playing, and an impromptu all-camp dance party broke out. Campers danced and sang, filling the room with energy and joy.
Following the dance party, our seniors began their play practices for their upcoming show. The juniors headed off to a social, while the sophomores and freshmen enjoyed snacks and a viewing of “Encanto.”
As we wrap up our first week, it’s incredible to see how much the girls have bonded with each other and their counselors. Thank you all for making this first week unforgettable, rain or shine.
Here’s to many more amazing days at Raquette, no matter the weather!
