Last night, Camp Raquette was transformed into a spooktacular wonderland for our Girls Camp Halloween celebration! The anticipation was high as the bunks spent rest hour and shower hour preparing their creative costumes and skits. The excitement was palpable, and the stage was set for an unforgettable evening. The festivities kicked off with the much-anticipated Bunk Parade. The girls strutted their stuff in an array of imaginative costumes, each bunk showcasing their unique themes and skits. Following the parade, we enjoyed a delicious dinner in an amazingly decorated dining hall that featured some eerie yet scrumptious cupcakes. The spooky treats added a fun twist to our meal, setting the perfect mood for the evening’s adventures. After dinner, the entire camp geared up for a campwide trick-or-treat. Laughter and excitement filled the air as the girls went from place to place, collecting treats and sharing the Halloween spirit. It was heartwarming to see the camaraderie and joy as everyone participated in this cherished tradition. One of the highlights of the night was the SUPY-created haunted house. This year, the theme was a haunted wedding, and it did not disappoint! The haunted house was filled with spooky surprises that had everyone on the edge of their seats. It was a thrilling experience that added an extra layer of excitement to the night. As the evening drew to a close, we gathered on SUPY Hill for the grand finale – the announcement of the costume parade winners. “Drum roll, please…” The runner-up was Raquette, dazzling us all as our favorite Care Bears. And the grand winner was Spruce, who wowed us with their creative take on versions of our beloved Stoler.
