The girls at Camp Raquette had another fantastic day, filled with activities, exciting auction prizes, and even another thrilling fake break! After a busy and fun-filled day yesterday, we all enjoyed a much-needed Lazy Morning Breakfast today. It was a real treat to sleep in a bit and stroll to breakfast in our pajamas, starting the day off on a relaxed and cozy note.
The beautiful weather continued, providing the perfect backdrop for another day of camp fun. At lunch, the excitement ramped up with our silent auction for Raquette Bucks Prizes. The anticipation was high as the girls eagerly placed their bids, hoping to win some fantastic rewards for their bunks. Last night, the lucky winners started to enjoy their prizes, and it was a blast! Placid and Pine enjoyed a delightful boat cruise to the village for ice cream, taking in the scenic views and savoring their sweet treats.
Carry On had a cozy movie night in the Dance Studio, complete with snacks, creating a perfect relaxing evening. Spruce won a thrilling night of tubing and snacks, making for an unforgettable adventure on the water. Cedar Island, Maple and Duck Bay used their “bucks” to buy delicious ice cream sundaes at the TP, adding a sweet ending to their day.
Finally, Tamarack bought a night of blobbling with Gene and Roger complete with goodies!
At evening Flagpole we crowned our winner of Bunk of the Week - Tamarack and just as we were getting ready to bring the flag down a boat showed up with a TEAM WEEK sign and lots of confetti and excitement!
