Yee-haw!Last night, the entire camp gathered at the boys’ camp for an unforgettable Western Night. The evening was filled with delicious food, exciting activities, and loads of fun. We started with a hearty dinner featuring classic Western fare, pulled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, loaded potatos, broccoli, cole slaw, and more. All cooked to perfection. And for dessert… Apple pie, vanilla ice cream, and watermelon!
After dinner, The boys and girls made it up the boys camp hill for some country music and a variety of Western-themed activities. Annie’s lost egg hunt with candy surprises inside, Pig Pen baloon pop with hidden raquette bucks, Horse lasso, Feed the pig bean bag toss, Tin can toss, Potato sack races, and a photo booth! Raquette bucks were handed out to all in anticipation for our raquette bucks auction.
The juniors and seniors had a social where they split their time between the canteen and the campfire site to make s’mores!
A big thank you to the staff for organizing such a fantastic event and to all the campers for their enthusiastic participation. Western Night was a huge success, and we can’t wait to see what fun is in store for the rest of the summer!
