All good competitions must come to an end. Going into the last day of final four there were 700 points to be earned. Which means that anyone could still take the win. The boys showed up for tug o war, junior war canoe, and to the track meet with their game faces on. It was close but Green won track meet 270-208.
The teams gathered at their meeting sites, one last time as the mighty green and mighty white. The PA system turned on and the winner of color war 2024 was announced. Green team 2654 points to white team 2047 points. It was an amazing week on boys camp with lots of spirit, lots of sportsmanship, a beautiful sing. We are always so proud of our oldest campers who really step up to the plate this week and show true leadership.
And then… we all came back together again for our closing campfire looking over beautiful Raquette Lake. We buried the hatchets, and we heard all the captains and generals stories about their favorite moments of color war 2024.
