What better way to start our first full day of camp with beautiful sunny BLUE skies! Given the gorgeous weather the waterfront was definitely an ideal place to be. Our girls spent part of their day taking their blue cap swim tests at the waterfront.
Our seniors were in the theater preparing for our first Raquette Playhouse performance which will be this Friday!
Allow us to introduce you to our SUPY girls… The oldest age group of girls at Raquette who help lead the camp for the summer. They are camp big sisters, mentors, and role models for the whole camp. With that said who better to lead our opening campfire than SUPY!
Opening campfire is special for many reasons. In theme with the rich tradition of Raquette Lake Girls Camp the SUPY girls focused on UNITY. A very important part of our philosophy and values. We honored those campers who have been with us for 5,8, and 10 years with jackets. We also honored our staff who have been with us for 3 and 10 years! We love that our campers & staff return to camp year after year and we love to watch them grow! That’s what makes our camp family so special.
