A very big CONGRATS to B-House & T-4 on winning BUNK OF THE WEEK!
It was a very fun first trip day and this is what the boys were up to!
The frosh spent the day at the new WILD! Center Museum which is A-W-E-S-O-M-E! The Center is located on an 81-acre site in the Town of Tupper Lake, NY near the geographic center of the Adirondack Park. This one-of-kind 850-foot-long path of sky bridges and towers takes visitors up into, and eventually over, the tree tops of a living Adirondack forest!
The soph’s spent the day busy with Inter-Collegiates & hanging on the beautiful RLBC Beach! To top off the day they spent the evening with a famous campfire and s’mores with Eddie! YUM!
The lower juniors did the Ampersand Mountain Hike
The upper juniors had the Blue Mountain Canoe Trip followed by an overnight at our very own campsite better known as pioneering!
The seniors are enjoying Montreal!
I know we have been giving you the 411 but thought who better than our amazing group leaders to give you an update on the first week of camp. Here is updates from our Frosh & Lower Soph GL’s:
Frosh:
We are so excited the freshman campers have finally arrived to Raquette Lake Boys Camp. Camp can now begin! The boys have been settling in and enjoying all the activities. At soccer, basketball, baseball and lacrosse they are playing, laughing and improving. They are also getting ready for the summer long competition on the tennis ladder. Down at the waterfront, the campers have all tried either waterskiing, wakeboarding, or tubing. Your boys have giving their all to get up. In the swim area, they can be found jumping on the rave or relaxing on the tubes. We have now included fishing into our program and they all have successfully caught a fish (which of course we threw back in the lake). The counselors and I are enjoying getting to know your children as they have gotten to know each other. They make us smile everyday!

Lower Sophs:
Hello Lower Sophomore Parents. It has been a fun and exciting start to the summer. We started things off with the Opening Campfire and music. The kids were entertained during the counselor talent show, and played a camp wide game of capture the flag. Intercollegiate Sports have begun with everyone competing on the Badgers, Blue Devils, Chippewas, Sun Devils, Nittany Lions and Dragons. They will participate in a wide range of team sports. On Monday, we will be staying at camp and playing intercollegiate games and games on the beach. The campers and staff are all excited to make memorable experiences this summer.
